Basildon Women’s Aid was re-launched as Changing Pathways

After a period of consultation, Basildon Women’s Aid was re-launched as Changing Pathways on 22nd April 2016 at the Holiday Inn in Brentwood.

With over 100 attendees enjoying a cream tea celebration, the day was a great success, with guests keen to support the newly branded organisation.

Jessica Barclay-Lambert, Chief Executive of Changing Pathways made an introduction to the newly toned organisation, outlining how work would continue to build upon the nearly 40 years worth of legacy which has already gone before. Jessica explained how existing services would continue and she highlighted new ventures which will soon be in operation.

Polly Neate, Chief Executive of Women’s Aid Federation England officiated the launch ceremony after explaining her pride to be there. Polly congratulated Changing Pathways on flourishing in the face of funding cuts and spoke about small charities adapting and working together to retain the integrity of locally delivered victim focused provision.

All attendees received a pack with our new promotional materials, leaflets and posters. These can be downloaded here:Leaflets & Posters page
