ABOUT THE SURVEY

TONIC have been asked by Southend, Essex and Thurrock Domestic Abuse Board, to speak with local people with lived experience of domestic abuse to help shape future support services. This includes victims, survivors, and perpetrators of domestic abuse as well as families and professionals who support them.

Domestic abuse includes behaviours which are controlling, coercive, threatening, degrading and violent, including sexual violence, by a partner, ex-partner, family member or carer. This includes:
