We can help you if you are subjected to domestic abuse and stalking.

Our highly-trained practitioners work across a number of teams specialising in different circumstances and levels of need.

Our Outreach team is staffed by Domestic Abuse Practitioners (DAPs) who can help you explore practical options and support you in deciding what route to take.

Our Independent Domestic Violence Advisors (IDVAs)  support those with the highest safeguarding needs and can advocate on your behalf with other agencies to keep you and your children safe.

Our Stalking Team understand the unique challenges faced by individuals experiencing stalking and can help you navigate the situation.

We have staff members in local hospitals and our refuges have caseworkers who can help you move forward to a life free of abuse.

Our Children and Young People practitioners support in Refuge by educating and empowering children & young people through specialised therapeutic work.

Domestic abuse is defined as; physical, sexual, psychological, emotional or financial abuse that usually takes place within the home, and is perpetrated by a partner, ex-partner, family member or carer.

What to expect from CP

We don’t judge, we believe what you’ve been through, and we help you to regain autonomy by sharing information with you to help you make decisions. Find out what happens when you refer into our service here.

Professional support

Changing Pathways provides support to clients of any gender within areas of Basildon, Brentwood, Castle Point, Epping Forest, Harlow, Rochford and Thurrock. You can refer your client to us, either by asking them to contact COMPASS on 0330 3337444, or by sending us a completed referrals form.

We offer training to organisations who want to enhance their understanding of domestic violence, stalking and associated issues.
