About the Role:
Full Time – based in Basildon – 37.5 hours per week + participation in on-call rota £24,973.54 per annum – Permanent
The role will require you to be based at Parklands Centre.
The role will require you to support and advocate on behalf of victims/survivors of domestic abuse. This will involve telephone support and face to face community-based appointments.
In line with the new Domestic Abuse Act, children’s needs will be assessed as victims in their own right with referrals made to Changing Pathways’ Children’s Services where necessary.
A vehicle and clean and current driving licence is required for this post.
About You
Due to the nature of the work, we require someone who is able to show resilience and is able to deal with potentially difficult conversations and information on a daily basis.

About the Role:

This is a full time role based in the Watergardens, Harlow. As part of this role you will hold a caseload of individuals experiencing domestic abuse with low to medium risk levels, and will provide telephone or face-to-face support to help individuals understand their options and help them take their next steps towards an abuse-free life.

BAME IDVA - Harlow
About the Role:
Full time – based in Harlow 37.5 hours per week, £28,428.08 per annum qualified, £24,973 per annum unqualified – Permanent.
The role will require you to be based in Harlow, however Changing Pathways are considering a blended working agreement which could include some time working from home, after successful completion of probationary period.
You will be will be responsible for working in partnership to develop and deliver a Black Asian and Minority Ethnic Refugee (BAMER) community-based support service for individuals experiencing domestic abuse within South & West Essex, Thurrock and Southend areas.
This is a fast-paced role working with risk and as such we are seeking a dynamic individual who is skilled in crisis management and able to assess risk for survivors of domestic abuse.
This position requires you to be already working as an IDVA, either qualified or unqualified.
A Safe Lives IDVA or Women’s Aid DAPA qualification would be advantageous.
A vehicle and clean and current driving licence is required for this post.
