Student Counsellor Opportunities
Adult Counselling Placements
Our placement opportunities provide counselling students with first-hand experience of working with and learning about the emotional experiences and impact of domestic abuse on our clients
Our counselling service offers our clients, 121 counselling sessions alongside working with our IDVA, DAPS and other specialised practitioners.
We engage student counsellors who are currently in training on a recognised counselling & psychotherapy course – level 4 and above. There is also a requirement that all students are receiving personal therapy and clinical supervision.
Changing pathways do not offer remote student counsellor placements. All students will be expected to work face to face with their clients.
In return we offer a full induction programme, an opportunity to practice & develop counselling skills, training opportunities, free mentoring, and the chance to be part of a great team.
Students will need to provide their fitness to practice as signed off by their course tutor.
