Are you suffering from abuse?

We will help you.

Changing Pathways can help you if you are subjected to domestic abuse or stalking. Click on the survey links below to help you identify whether you are experiencing elements of abuse in your relationship.

Our highly-trained practitioners work across a number of teams specialising in different circumstances and levels of need.

Our Outreach team is staffed by Domestic Abuse Practitioners (DAPs) who can help you explore practical options and support you in deciding what route to take.

Our Independent Domestic Violence Advisors (IDVAs) support those with the highest safeguarding needs and can advocate on your behalf with other agencies to keep you and your children safe.

For children and young people affected by domestic abuse, our specialist CYP team provides tailored IDVA services.

Our Stalking Team (ISACs) understand the unique challenges faced by individuals experiencing stalking and can help you navigate the situation by explaining what injunctions are available and what practical steps you can take, and helping you to advocate for yourself with other professionals.

We have Essex Domestic Abuse Partnership Project (EDAPP) at two local hospitals (Basildon University Hospital and Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow) with Independent Domestic Violence Advisors on site.

Our refuges have caseworkers who can help you move forward to a life free of abuse.
